location was right on top of a metro station well positioned in the city, room with relatively enough space, good heating, good cleaning services, a typical breakfast is included and in a reasonable room price (for Paris), shower with glass doors, helpful/typical staff
the specific room had a small shower and because of the glass doors it was hard for a tall/big person to enter or exit. The water was constantly turning from hot to cold, every day and time, (probably other guests were using showers). There was no proper door separating the bathroom/WC from the room, there was just a wooden door that was dragged but didnt close properly. I 'm guessing due to old installations and building.

Simply no complaint, GOOD stay. Nicely decorated hotel, the breakfast is warm, unbeatable location in the city center. Very good service during our stay. The early check-in process too.

missingWrote a review on 08 Deccomfortable bedsmodern vibenoise issue
The rooms feature comfortable beds and a decent size bathroom. Breakfast offers above-average quality with warm bread and good tea, a nice touch to start the day right.
While the hotel exudes a modern vibe, the noise from outside can be bothersome, especially if you're facing the street with bars nearby. Some rooms might present a lack of in-room amenities such as a hair dryer or coffee setup, which could be disappointing for those expecting a bit more convenience.

The location was good, plenty of restaurants in the area, easy walk to railway station and into the city. Good breakfast and a very helpful breakfast waiter. Perfect for a short stay.
Although the room was clean and comfortable it would benefit from some general re-decoration, the pictures in the listing were probably of the hotel's best room.

The location was great as it is within walking distance of the Gare du Nord and just in front of a Metro station. The comfort was fair and I think the value for money was good.

The hotel was very near Republic square and with easy access to metro. Of all persons in reception, just one appeared helpful.
The room smelled badly with no air conditioning and it was very very small. The hotel was old and the dining room was somewhere like a cave under the ground with a very poor buffet breakfast. All days just a few pieces of jambon and cheese... On the second day, it seemed that they hadn't replaced towels and everybody was complaining. It was like a one star hotel and with that price, it was like throwing out your money.

Charming spot with friendly staff
The location was superb, just a quick walk to the metro. The staff were genuinely helpful.
Noise from the street was quite bothersome at night. It was like a constant buzz, made sleep elusive. A better soundproofing would certainly enhance the experience.

The good location, near a metro station - easy to reach.
A poor breakfast, the computer in the lobby of the hotel was just a furniture, the free internet connection was not available for the first 5 days, the rooms have the windows in an inner court, in construction, very noisy all the day, just 5 tv channels, all in French...and so on.

It is a good location if stopping in Paris on the way to somewhere else, very close to the metro, about 15 minutes walk from the Gare du Nord. Some of the more touristy things are further away but it is close the Marais for restaurants shops etc.
There is noise from the nearby main road if the windows are open. The rooms feel a bit run down and shabby. Otherwise it is pretty comparable with similarly priced hotels in central Paris.
